What can we say? We love bringing back a good thing! Our holiday gift card giveaway has returned!

Last year, to celebrate the release of A Box of Frogs, five lucky readers snagged Amazon gift cards ranging from $500 to $1,000.

This year, we're upping the ante! To celebrate The Split Pea Tango by Josh Hellyer, SEVEN lucky readers will win gift cards ranging from $250 to $1,000 (1 x $1,000, 2 x $500, 4 x $250). And here's the best part: the gift cards don't have to be from Amazon—they can be from Walmart or Instacart too!

Important Dates:

Winners will be announced on December 12, 2025, and gift cards will land in the winners' inboxes by the end of the day on December 15, 2025.

The Split Pea Tango Gift Card Giveaway

Administered by MapleCrest Press

1. Eligibility

This contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees of MapleCrest Press, their immediate family members, and household members are not eligible to participate.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins on November 4, 2025 and ends on December 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. All entries must be received by the deadline to be eligible.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

Complete the online entry form
Answer one of the provided questions about "The Split Pea Tango"
Submit a selfie with the book's cover by texting it to 223-226-9090
Agree to these official rules

4. Prize

Seven (7) winners will receive gift cards ranging from $250 to $1,000: one (1) $1,000 gift card, two (2) $500 gift cards, and four (4) $250 gift cards. The prizes will be awarded in the currency of the winner's country of residence (CAD for Canadian residents, USD for US residents). Gift cards may be from Amazon, Walmart, or Instacart.

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be contacted via their preferred contact method within 72 hours of the contest end date.

6. Entry Requirements

All written submissions must be substantive and pertain to "The Split Pea Tango." Entries that are outside the scope of the book will not be eligible for selection. MapleCrest Press reserves the right to determine entry validity at its sole discretion.

7. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is required to enter this contest. Participants may borrow or otherwise legally access the book to participate.

8. Rights and Permissions

By entering, participants grant MapleCrest Press a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, and distribute submitted materials for promotional purposes in any media.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely for contest administration and prize fulfillment, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. General Conditions

MapleCrest Press reserves the right to modify or cancel this contest at any time. All decisions regarding this contest are final.
